Yes- to both, collecting and too much stuff. I am guilty. I always dream about less stuff. I have two friends that when I go visit their homes, I ALWAYS come back to my home and purge my stuff- well, some of it.
Okay- so if you love flowers, you probably like the containers too! I always see a container as an opportunity for flowers.
Below, is my most favorite- a silver biscuit barrel. My husband gave this to me years ago( with the help of a dear friend nudging him!)- it usually has flowers in it. The white milk glass bowl belongs to my friend, Erin the super photographer.
Bud Vases are not overrated. They look beautiful and sometimes less is more!
Or use lots of them- especially if your mom has been giving them to you for years! But, please remember to polish your silver…unlike this picture of my tarnished goods! One day, I will get my kids to polish.
Another great option are places like Tuesday Morning and TJ Maxx- always gems to find in there. This is new container from Tuesday Morning- I think it was $30. I can’t wait to use it.
This little one is from a junk store- I couldn’t pass up the color!
Don’t think that you have to buy things- use what you have. You can always cover something in moss, and there is always a can of spray paint that can change the look of something in a hurry! Hope that your collections inspire you!
